Having spoken to the receptionist we found out that a day pass to travel anywhere and everywhere, either bus tram or train was 4 euros, bargain!
Deep underground in the metro, which is fab by the way. Air con, mini tv, it's super fast and it's not the slightest bit crowded.
First stop, Trevi fountain. It's amazing, huge infact! Look at the pics!
Walking back to the metro stop we got off at, we called into a little ice cream restaurant, where we had an iced cream coffee (like a slush in texture) and two cherry slushes. Much needed to say it's 32*C here.
On route again, only this time we visited cappela sistina, the Sistine Chappell. Took some photos of the inside, even though your not supposed to. The Vatican museum itself was only 10 euros to get in. Well worth the money (ps, the guy on the desk winked and said under 18?).
Were now in the middle of at peters square, which is surprisingly empty. The view is spectacular and as far as architecture goes, it's unparalleled this week.
Will write more later when we've been to the colosseum See you there!!
