Day 10; Paris

so here we are, the last place on our list, as well as the penultimate day of our journey.

We took a free tour of Paris today, just as we did in Berlin. The tour guide wasn't quite as good as the last but none the less it was a good experience.

The tour only lasted a couple of hours, which was more than enough considering the pain our feet were in.

After the tour we walked to the Eiffel tower where we had French fries and ketchup whilst waiting in the queue to take the elevator to the top.

The journey up was quite daunting but non the less we took it on. The view was spectacular as expected. Not really much else to say other than you have to experience it yourself.

Back at the bottom we sat on the grass in full view of the tower, waiting for darkness to set in so they would turn on the lights. As the pictures show it looked great. We sat here for a few hours and bought a bottle of wine from a passing lucky lucky man.

All good fun!

Were now back at the hotel, exhausted as per. We fly home tomorrow, arriving in Leeds around 4 o'clock, where we then catch the train back to Doncaster.

Home soon.

:D
